The BIG Brothers are watching and we all take heed to GQ because their like wearing Ralph Lauren you can't go wrong. Congrats to Street Etiquette to be so young, fresh, and cool is awesome. Also to understand what timeless and true style means. In honor of Black History Month I like SE contribution of their video editorial SEWN FROM THE SOUL. What stood out to me most was little gentleman Jeremiah and Poet Joe Kenneth-Museau. The image of Jeremiah sticks with me because after this generation grows up and become men...he'll be next to lead the pack with male figures in his life like the gents in the shoot he can't go wrong. It always starts with your mentors, which Jeremiah looks sharp and living smart already. As for Joe-Kenneth his talents of self expression through words is special. Joe can express himself at this stage and time in his life as well as articulate thoughts...that some older men could only dream of. I don't know much of his up bringing, but to possess passion, words, style, bravery, and feeling is great. And whoever or whatever instill it in him his powers are grand and will mos def lead him beyond the stars. Again gents BRAVO and Thanks for being Inspiration.

LaQuan Smith debuted his first Fashion Show, Monday February 15th, at the Society of Illustrators, where he is hoping
to sweep away the likes of Buyers and editors to brand him, the new "IT" designer. 2010 NYFW Editors have been praising LQS for his custom collection and his recent pieces featured in Video shoots of some of today's biggest artist. Two of his latest features were in Rihanna's "Rude boy" and Alicia Keys "Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart".
New York Times and New York Daily News both featured LaQuan Smith as the most anticipated, young designer of this year.
This fashion artist is definitly blowing minds before our eyes.

Music Video Director Ms Melina has a visual eye like i-D Magazine has a vision for those elaborate editorials...Melina's directed video could go right in between the pages of i-D Magazine if they were still frames. Rihanna brings the RUDE GAL effect the DANCE HALL QUEEN comes out of her...a la Patra, Lady Saw, Foxy Brown Oh YEA, etc... She's the "dutty wine queen", which LDN TWN is full of yardy's who appreciates lil Miss Sunshine Gone Bad Gal (in my Jafakin/LDN accent) The colors and the wardrobe are amazing it's a visual.eye.gasm.

Alexander Wang knows how to put the total package together for his girls that buys his clothes...No One Else can do it for em like he can. When Alexander describes his collections with inve$ment banker gone bad (he didn't specifically say that but uknowatimsayin watch the video) Fashion Editor Karl Templer understood the interpretation of the evolving and the structure Alex was looking for styling wise. I immediately saw two things the hair and shoes which all those 90's references came to me from high school with those platform boots and pre-con gel hair style smushed acrossed the fore head of every girl in the 90's went through. The show presented that bad girl crushed in velvet, but she was playful like the girls in Clueless(the movie) with her book bag sac, thigh high leggings, and shades. This girl is mos def sexier, cooler, tougher, and no nonsense...Alexander Wang has made the BAD GIRL OF FW2010 if NO ONE ELSE did he did...

G-Star is the ultimate when it comes to denim...you'll never see a denim editorial without the use of G-star. G-Star FW2010 show took que's from a familiar place for me the "THE WIZ" the scene where color change full of primary colors (I believe they were in Emerald City)...In G-Star's case they only did the Blue, Yellow(GOLD), and Green section were they had models ease on down runway...It came to me full circle in the finale when the interlocking of models crossing each other and posing...so dope. G-Star always finds new ways to make denim forward and beyond, which they do successfully...as well as the outerwear, which was insane those coats, parkas, and jackets are knutts...The WIZ finally came...the look was more the Riddler in all GREEN which was on model Armando and it was editorial madness walking... Where I was really ooOOoing and Ahhhhing lol...but awesome show and I mos def want to say thanks to Michelle always always your the best.
I'm mos def building stories around those pieces most editors are...

The Sartorialist in some dope hightop NIKE...
Menswear Fall 2010 is all the about the outerwear...seriously I've seen some pure dopeness these past couple of days...GENERAL IDEA is not just any ol idea...it's a little beyond "General"...I was speaking to my homeboy Noah "ONE OF MY STYLE ICONS" about adding emblishments on a puffer with shiny stones and on other sorts on outerwears pieces, which was pretty much a cool idea. But our ideas wasn't a "GENERAL IDEA" because Designer Bumsuk Choi had these crazy awesome outerwear jackets, coats, peacoats, and blazers come down his FW2010 Runway. With all these cool ass emblishments and design. So I guess we were thinking too General :/
Styled by Andreas Kokkino who made sure the right model was put in the right look to walk down those editorial ready pieces along with the everyday pieces nonetheless cool and sharp, but mos def in awesome looks. Most of the pieces pictured above are the pieces that spoke volumes to me and "THE COAT" that Yuri sports is mos def going to be in the glossy pages somewhere...Also ReQuest model Cole Mohr brought down shiny, silver, and black jacket which brighten your eye pupils a bit. Also the purple like color with black fur hood gave you a ahhh effect...as well as double-breasted camel/black coat including the shearling/leather all Ahhhhs...I really liked the collection...with Fashion Editors like Jason Farrer, Memsor Kamarake', and Scott The Sartorialist in atmosphere it'll be cool to see what they would make of these pieces on those fashion pages.
Thanks Jasmine and Williamson PR for the invite...I really enjoyed my first General Idea Runway Show.
