HBO | How To Make It In America...

I was wondering what I was going to watch when the finale of The Jersey Shore came on...My TV world ended with those guys. But I was walking in the streets picking up my latest glossy pages. And I notice Cudi in a AD for HBO, which read "How To Make It In America" and I'm still trying to figure it out...(Go figure). Sooo it's awesome a show is coming out to act out my daily life and many other hustlers I know. Coincidence these kats are trying to make it in NYC's competitive fashion scene. Kudos HBO for casting familiar faces, but fresh also new Victor Rasuk and new kat to me Bryan Greenberg also dope boy Kid Cudi...

Twentysomethings are always trying to hustle their way through NYC and determined to achieve their version of the American Dream...YOU DAMN RIGHT and I can't stop won't stop till I get a piece of the pie. So this series seem to be interesting and YES I'm going to mos def WATCH and you should too if you are trying to be anything or somebody!

Tune in Feb 14, 2009 at 10pm...gents with your lady on Valentines Day...Also remember Mark Walberg is behind it or better yet one of the producers as he was behind HBO's hit Entourage...so it's a GO!

I heard this somewhere "If I can't work and make it...I'm going to steal and take it" I don't think the quote is literally speaking, but all the NY hustlers of any sort knowatimsayin :)

10 MAGAZINE VICTORIA AND DAVID BECKHAM HIS/HERs ISSUE...

I just LOVE magazines...Yes I do...especially magazines like 10 magazine latest HIS/HERs Issue. The Beckhams are a cool power couple and pardon me Mr. David Beckham, but Victoria looks sooooooooo dope on the cover she looks sexy, cool, pretty, relaxed, and like a around the way fillet...I love that she's stripped from all glamourous or high fashion ensembles (which she looks amazing in) but she looks most amazing in photographer's shadowed cover :) Can't wait to see inside...

GIVENCHY X JESUS X JODECI...

width="425" height="344">

Fashion Editor/Stylist Panos Yiapanis and Creative Director Riccardo Tisci of Givenchy are inspired by many things, but when I look at first glance of the mens SS2010 Runway Show with the oversize shorts, shirts, socks, hightop sandal kicks, inspiration of Morocco, and backwards caps...And Givenchy AW2010 collection with vanson style leathers, hooded leathers, airbrush style "Jesus Is Lord" tee, white and black (pay attention to detail gold pendants etc)... I see the obvious and the hint of lengendary R&B recording group JODECI...C'mon son you can't tell me Panos styling doesn't look a little 90's New Jack Swing with a mash up of British Punk...You don't see it...? maybe it's just me. From the almost street casted show, but actual agency models walking the runways. That gives the collection that hardcore edge it needs to be forward and fresh...but let me know your thoughts... look closely too. I'm just sayin I completely love both collections and appreciate the duo style also design concepts.

LOVE MAGAZINE ISSUE THREE WITH MODEL JENEIL WILLIAMS...

LOOK BETHANN YOUR VOICE SPOKE TO THE FASHION HIGHS AND OVER THE FASHION PEAKS!!! Jeneil Williams graced the cover of LOVE Magazine which I LOVE LOVE Magzine for doing...how awesome is that!!! Two years ago it was a Town Hall Meeting about Black Models not being represented on the runways and on the covers of high fashion magazines. This meeting head coordinator Ex-Model and Model Manager Bethann Hardison spoke amongst fashion insiders such as models, photographers, fashion editors etc...And now you have models of color walking in Paris, Milan,and NYC Fashion Week Shows as well as AD campaigns and look COVERS!!! What's also awesome is I had the chance to meet and tell NY Model Jeneil myself how much I loved her work, also that she was one of my many beginning posts on this blog, and she gave the kidd a pic (which she is mos def a player in my eyes). I can't wait to work with Jeneil on a shoot one day, it'll be dope. Nice cover lady it's beautiful, strong, and brave...and YES I LOVE IT...mos def a copp!

Behind The Scenes And The Use Of Cool Locations...

Here is a behind the scene shot of Photographer William Yan at work shooting BiBi...And how this shot became opening page. Cool stuff right! Here some pics from the actual fitting and some unseen shots...

Also Check Out How Locations Still Live On To Be Dope Filming And Shooting Locations:

I was watching one of my many favorite channels, which is VH1 Soul btw...And whoever was behind the boards this day was feeling in the mood to play little games :)...By R&B Group Subway Feat. 702-"This Lil' Game We Play" where I as a teen had their WORD UP! poster years ago and still do (came across it the other day). At the time I thought they were cool kats with the backwards hats, fedora's, and peacoats. But I'm posting this because a portion of their video is where myself and William Yan shot Model Joey Lopez (LOOK REALLY CLOSELY AND YOU'LL SEE WATIMSAYIN). Well noted Music Director Lionel C. Martin had the eye just like we did I guess and what came to be a dope location back then...it still stands today to be as awesome.
